Up to S$1 million per project or per applicant.

Key conditions

  • Project must not have commenced before application. Minimum outcome is 100 tonnes of waste reduced/reused/recycled. Maximum project duration is 3.5 years, including at least 1 year of operations. Support is reimbursement-based and linked to actual waste outcomes.

When should you apply?

The programme is available on a rolling basis under the current guidance.

The project should be assessed before commitment or commencement so that any pre-application restrictions are preserved.

How does the application process work?

The current guidance uses direct engagement with National Environment Agency (NEA) for application information and submission requirements.

A practical workstream is:

  1. confirm company and project eligibility;
  2. define the supported scope, outcomes and qualifying cost base;
  3. check timing, collaboration, vendor or pre-approval conditions;
  4. prepare and submit through the official programme route;
  5. respond to agency assessment requirements; and
  6. implement and retain evidence against the approved conditions if support is awarded.

Is 3R Fund relevant to your project?

A strong fit is a company whose planned project clearly matches the supported activities: Process redesign to reduce waste; recycling infrastructure; innovative waste sorting/recycling systems and equipment; new operations or systems that increase recycling or reduce waste generation.

The opportunity is weaker where the project cannot satisfy one of the decisive conditions identified above, even if the broader business objective appears relevant.

How Reeve | R&D supports 3R Fund

Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream—eligibility assessment, project structuring, funding modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements—while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
