What does AI Pathfinder support?
AI Pathfinder supports the adoption, implementation and scaling of market-tested AI solutions within financial institutions.
The track is designed to accelerate practical AI deployment rather than fund open-ended technology research. The solution must already have progressed far enough to qualify for the PathFin.ai ecosystem.
Who can apply?
The current applicant profile is a Singapore-based financial institution deploying an eligible PathFin.ai-listed solution.
No local-shareholding requirement is stated for the track.
The project must therefore satisfy both sides of the route: an eligible financial-institution applicant and an eligible listed AI solution.
How much support is available?
AI Pathfinder provides up to 50% support, capped at S$200,000.
The actual approved amount remains subject to MAS assessment and the eligible cost base of the proposed implementation.
What expenditure can qualify?
Support relates to costs associated with adopting and deploying the eligible PathFin.ai-listed AI solution.
Detailed public cost heads are not stated in the summary guidance, so the project budget should be checked against the relevant track rules before relying on a particular cost category.
Key conditions
The most important conditions are:
- the applicant is a Singapore-based financial institution;
- the AI solution is market-tested;
- the solution is listed on PathFin.ai; and
- the proposed project is an adoption/deployment project rather than a generic AI research project.
The PathFin.ai requirement is a gating condition. A technically strong AI project does not fit this track merely because it uses AI.
Is AI Pathfinder relevant to your project?
A strong fit is a financial institution that has identified a PathFin.ai-listed solution and is ready to deploy it into a real business or operational use case.
A weaker fit is an institution developing a proprietary AI solution internally or working on frontier-technology R&D. In that case, the FSTI Institution Project track may be more appropriate.
How Reeve | R&D supports AI Pathfinder
Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream—eligibility assessment, solution and project fit, funding modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements—while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
