What does it support?
BEiS can support association conventions, corporate activities, exhibitions, incentive travel, meetings and trade conferences. It can also support selected pre-event market feasibility, bidding, business and capability development, and content innovation activities.
Who can apply?
The scheme is open to businesses, companies and associations operating in the MICE industry. The event or initiative must be relevant to Singapore's business-events sector and meet SECB assessment criteria.
How does the support work?
Support is reimbursement-based and assessed by STB/SECB according to the project. The current public page does not state one universal percentage or fixed monetary cap.
What expenditure can qualify?
Qualifying expenditure is project-specific and can include eligible event-development, business-development and capability-building costs approved by SECB.
Key conditions
The event or initiative is assessed for quality, tourism and economic contribution, and longer-term value to Singapore's business-events ecosystem. BEiS should not be treated as a generic event subsidy unrelated to MICE objectives.
Timing and application process
BEiS is available on a rolling basis. The normal route starts with an executive summary to SECB, followed by formal application if the project is assessed as suitable.
Prepare the event concept, target delegates or visitors, Singapore economic and tourism contribution, schedule and project budget, and submit the executive summary to SECB before proceeding to the formal application.
Is this scheme relevant to your project?
A strong fit is a high-quality MICE event or pre-event initiative that can strengthen Singapore's business-events pipeline and deliver measurable sector value. A weak fit is a general consumer event or internal corporate activity with little MICE or tourism relevance.
How Reeve | R&D supports the scheme
Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream - eligibility assessment, project structuring, funding or tax-benefit modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements - while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
