What does it support?
The measure provides corporate income tax relief for YA2026 and a cash component for companies meeting a local-employment test.
Who can apply?
The rebate applies to qualifying companies with YA2026 tax payable. The cash grant requires an active company that employed at least one local employee in 2025.
How does the support work?
The rebate is 50% of YA2026 corporate income tax payable. Eligible employers may also receive a S$2,000 cash grant. The combined benefit is capped at S$40,000 per company.
What expenditure can qualify?
The basis is corporate tax liability and qualifying employment, not expenditure on a particular project. There is no project-cost reimbursement schedule.
Key conditions
The two components have different qualifying tests. A company must still meet its YA2026 corporate tax filing obligations where a return is required.
Timing and application process
IRAS administers the relief through the corporate tax process and myTax Portal, without a separate grant application. The YA2026 filing deadline is 30 November 2026.
Important programme distinctions
The November date is a tax-return deadline, not a standalone funding application window. Assess the rebate and cash component together when applying the overall cap.
