What does it support?

BizAdapt covers four activities: FTA and trade-compliance advisory, legal or contractual advisory, supply-chain optimisation and market diversification, and eligible manufacturing reconfiguration involving relocation or supplier changes. A business should first establish which of these activities matches the actual project.

Who can apply?

An applicant must be registered and operating in Singapore and have at least 30% local equity.

For Activity 1, the company must export to or operate in overseas markets, but does not expressly need to demonstrate tariff impact. Activities 2–4 require tariff impact. For Activity 4, the applicant must also own at least 51% of the affected local or overseas manufacturing operation.

How does the support work?

From 1 April 2026, eligible SMEs may receive up to 70%, and non-SMEs up to 50%, of approved qualifying expenditure. The combined grant limit is S$100,000 per enterprise across the programme period; the grant rate and eligible costs remain activity-dependent.

What expenditure can qualify?

Eligible costs can include specified trade-compliance advisory, legal and contractual advisory, supply-chain support, and approved logistics or inventory-holding expenditure for manufacturing reconfiguration. Certain supporting audit costs may be allowed subject to their separate limit.

Key conditions

  • Do not commence the project before applying. Retrospective applications are not accepted.
  • Each application concerns one eligible activity.
  • Submit no more than six months before the planned start, and plan for a project duration of no more than 24 months.
  • Activities 1–3 require pre-approved vendors; eligible reconfiguration may use an applicant-selected provider.

Timing and application process

The programme is time-limited and accepts applications until 6 October 2027. A company should identify its intended activity, confirm tariff-impact and ownership conditions where relevant, and apply through the Business Grants Portal before commencement.

Important programme distinctions

The difference between Activity 1 and Activities 2–4 is material: FTA or trade-compliance advisory is not automatically restricted to companies proving tariff harm, while the other activities require it. Broader overseas market development can be assessed separately under EDGE Internationalisation.
