What does it support?

CCPs cover Place-and-Train and Job Redesign Reskilling programmes across many sectors. They combine structured on-the-job or industry-recognised training with transition into growth roles and can support both new career switchers and eligible existing employees.

Who can apply?

The employer must be registered or incorporated in Singapore and participate in an available CCP through the relevant programme partner. Supported trainees must meet the applicable Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, mid-career and role-conversion conditions.

How does the support work?

For Place-and-Train and Job Redesign Reskilling CCPs, WSG provides employers with standard salary support of up to 70%, capped at S$5,000 per month for the training duration. Enhanced support is up to 90%, capped at S$7,500 per month, for qualifying mature or long-term-unemployed trainees. Employers co-fund the remaining salary.

What expenditure can qualify?

The main employer-facing support is salary support during the CCP training period. Programme-specific training support or allowances may also apply depending on the selected CCP modality and sector programme.

Key conditions

The supported role must represent a genuine conversion into a qualifying growth job. Employers must follow the programme partner's training and administrative requirements and deliver the structured reskilling plan. Individual CCPs differ by sector, job role and training design.

Timing and application process

CCPs are ongoing across around 30 sectors, but individual programmes and job-role availability change over time. Employers should first identify an active CCP covering the intended role.

Identify the target growth role and candidate profile, select the relevant sector CCP, confirm employer and trainee eligibility with the programme partner, define the training plan and salary-support period, and register through the applicable CCP route.

Is this scheme relevant to your project?

A strong fit is an employer hiring a genuine mid-career switcher or converting an existing employee into a materially different growth role with structured training. A weak fit is normal hiring into the same occupation with no substantive role conversion.

How Reeve | R&D supports the scheme

Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream - eligibility assessment, project structuring, funding or tax-benefit modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements - while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
