What does it support?
PTRG supports the introduction of part-time re-employment opportunities, flexible work arrangements and structured career planning for resident senior workers. It also requires age-friendly workplace practices to be embedded in the employer's approach.
Who can apply?
Companies, societies and non-profit organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore can apply if they have at least one resident senior worker aged 60 or above at both application and claim. Previous PTRG recipients cannot reapply. There is no local ownership requirement.
How does the support work?
The grant provides S$2,500 per eligible resident senior worker aged 60 or above, up to S$125,000 per employer, equivalent to 50 eligible workers. Payment is conditional on implementing the required employment and HR practices.
What expenditure can qualify?
PTRG is a conditional employer grant, not a reimbursement scheme for specific equipment, consultancy or training invoices. The grant amount is linked to eligible senior workers and fulfilment of the required practices.
Key conditions
The employer must:
- offer part-time re-employment to eligible senior workers who request it;
- adopt the Tripartite Standard on Age-Friendly Workplace Practices;
- implement flexible work arrangements and structured career planning as formal HR policies; and
- complete the required SNEF workshops.
The qualifying senior-worker requirement applies at claim as well as at application.
Timing and application process
Applications reopened on 18 December 2025, and the scheme is extended through 31 December 2027. Apply through the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), the appointed programme partner, and complete its required workshops and implementation steps.
Important programme distinctions
Having senior workers on the payroll is only one part of the assessment. PTRG also requires the employer to adopt the specified practices; it is different from an automatically assessed wage or CPF offset.
