What does it support?

The redesigned credit is intended for eligible workforce-transformation programmes and courses under the Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package. The complete list of supported programmes has not yet been published.

Who can apply?

Companies must meet the redesigned scheme's eligibility conditions. Detailed final criteria, including any local ownership requirement, have not yet been confirmed in the published guidance. Eligibility under the current SFEC should not be assumed to establish eligibility for the redesigned credit.

How does the support work?

The fresh S$10,000 credit is provided through an online wallet to offset eligible out-of-pocket costs upfront. The detailed percentage of support for eligible programmes has not yet been fully published, so companies cannot yet calculate the credit's contribution to every proposed course or programme.

What expenditure can qualify?

Eligible workforce-transformation programmes and courses will form the support base. The complete qualifying programme and cost list remains pending, so a proposed expense should be checked against the final guidance before the company relies on the credit to fund it.

Key conditions

The current SFEC expires on 30 November 2026. Unused credits from the current scheme do not carry over into the redesigned scheme. The new allocation is a fresh credit with its own eligibility and use conditions.

Timing and application process

The new SFEC portal launches on 1 December 2026. Companies should check the enterprise guidance and eligible programme list when released, confirm their eligibility, and use the new portal's process to apply the credit to qualifying costs.

Important programme distinctions

The current scheme's 90% support rate has not been confirmed for the redesigned credit. A fresh credit allocation does not mean the old support percentage or programme coverage continues unchanged.
